Panther Choir Booster Club Scholarships

The Panther Choir Booster Club is proud to support the students in our program through over $5000 in scholarships offered each year in the following categories.

Senior Scholarship 

Each spring Senior Choir students may apply for scholarships funded by the Panther Choir Booster Club. To be eligible for scholarship consideration students must be graduating in May of the current school year, an active member of the CHHS Choir program with at least two years of participation and enrolling in a collegiate program the following Fall. Applicants should complete the application available on this website.  Applicants are evaluated by a blind Scholarship Committee of non-senior choir parents  on their musical and community involvement.   The Senior Scholarship Application must be filled out and submitted electronically.

Please review the application and prepare your essay in advance as this must be uploaded with the application. 

Essay prompt (not to exceed 500 words):

How has your CHHS choir experience impacted you? What have learned during your time Choir Department, and how will you transfer and build on these skills in your future?

Choir Camp Scholarships

The Panther Choir Booster Club is excited to help support our students goals towards membership in both Region and Texas All-State Choirs. One of the best ways to prepare for this endeavor in the fall is to attend one of the many camps offered by Universities over the summer. Please see the information below concerning the application process. Awards will be in the amount of $100 and based on both merit and need. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION. 

Awards will be announced February 28 and available for camp registrations that open on March 1.

Private Voice Instruction Financial Aid

​

Recognizing the private voice instruction is vital to the improvement and success of young singers the Panther Choir Booster Club assist student in gaining access to high quality instruction offered through the GCISD Supplementary Music Program.
